Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

“If not us then who? If not now, then when?”

-John Lewis

Our Commitment

As Jamison continues to grow, we believe we have a responsibility to do better by being better.  Better at celebrating our unique differences, better at promoting a gender balanced workforce, and better at developing future generations of talent.  We encourage others to lead by example as we have.  With numerous nationalities and rich and diverse cultures represented in our workforce and leadership, our own diversity helps us reflect unique backgrounds, experience, thoughts, and talents.  Our unique perspective makes us stronger, more innovative, nimble, and resilient.  By being better, we have created an inclusive culture—that values diverse-perspectives.

We engage in partnerships with organizations that drive social change and promote continuous improvement primarily in the areas of social injustice, economic empowerment, and workplace equality.  We engage in partnerships with organizations that focus on developing long-term sustainable relationships with minority, women-owned or LGBTQ+ enterprises that add value, provide innovation, and promote continuous improvements advancing diversity and inclusion perspectives.  We engage in partnerships with organizations that have expanded their recruiting efforts, as we have to include more Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Minority Institutions (MIs), as well as non-traditional learning pathways.

Jamison is committed to creating an environment focused on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging where every member of our team feels as though they can show up as their authentic selves and do their best work every day.  We pledge an ongoing commitment and dialogue to ensure we continue making the necessary strides allowing for a better connection to our workforce, our community, and the world.  We will continue to support diversity and inclusion within our own organization because it’s more than what we do, it’s who we are.

“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”

-Mahatma Gandhi

Our Motivation

Through purposeful investments and thoughtful advocacy efforts, Jamison contributes to partnerships and programs that align with our strategic objectives, create value, and help build better communities worldwide. We use our time, talent, and resources to strengthen partnerships within our cities by working to build long-term relationships with community organizations that believe that progress is realized through impact.  In accordance with our values, we are here to make a difference.

We remain focused on investing in community organizations that reinforce our commitment to homeless veterans, at-risk youth, single mother families, healthy eating, and the prevention of animal cruelty.  Our responsibility is to look beyond the demands of our industry and consider how our work impacts the neighborhoods and communities where we work, live and play.  We call it courageous engagement in our cities and the communities we serve. We strive to be more than.

We support organizations such as the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), https://www.aspca.org/ , Boys and Girls Clubs of America, https://www.bgca.org/ , The National Coalition for Homeless Veterans, https://www.nchv.org/ , The National Partnership for Women & Families, https://www.nationalpartnership.org/about-us/ , and Gilliam’s Community Garden, https://gilliamscommunitygarden.org/  located locally, in East Point, Georgia.
